Prayer Teams

Grace Chapel Castle Rock believes that every ministry of the church needs to be supported by prayer. Several prayer teams have been formed; each team is commited to praying for a specific ministry of the church.

Moms in Touch

Article Pic Moms In Touch is a group of moms who meet for one hour each week to pray for their children, their schools, their teachers, and administrators. It's mothers, grandmothers, or anyone who is willing to pray for a specific child and school, and who believe that prayer makes a difference.

Our Purpose is . . . .

  • To stand in the gap for our children through prayer.
  • To pray that our children will receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, then stand boldly in their faith.
  • To pray for teachers and staff.
  • To pray that teachers, administrative staff, and students would come to faith in Jesus Christ.
  • To provide support and encouragement to moms who carry heavy burdens for their children.
  • To pray that our schools may be directed by Biblical values and high moral standards.
  • To be an encouragement and a positive support to our schools

Helping Meals Ministry

This ministry provides prayer support, and lends helping hands by providing meals and child care in times of special need. Its main functions are to:
  • Pray for specific requests and coordinate care to meet special needs
  • Maintain the church prayer chain roster (i.e., names and phone numbers of those who have signed up to pray for specific needs upon receiving a phone call)
  • Activate the prayer chain process once an urgent prayer need has been identified
  • Coordinate meal and/or child care for GC-CR families in time of illness, crisis, births, and deaths of family
